Deaf Day at the State Capital - May 21, 2008

The third annual Day at the State Capitol will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. This is an annual event to create awareness of the needs of Michigan Citizens with hearing loss. There will be an opportunity to attend both Senate and House of Representative session.

Hearing Loss Awareness Month: May 2008 will be proclaimed Hearing Loss Awareness Month in Michigan, with Resolutions to this effect being read in both the House and Senate on the day of our event.

Hearing Aid Assistance Tax Credit
Insurance Coverage for Hearing Aids
Newborn Hearing Screening
Senior Citizen Hearing Loss and Dementia
Medicaid Reimbursement
